The ASUS VG278Q is an affordable gaming monitor with 1080p 144Hz 1ms specifications and features FreeSync and certified G-SYNC compatibility. It also has a strobing backlight capacity, motion blur reduction, and a fully ergonomic design. It also has additional gaming features, which include customizable crosshairs, gaming presets, and more.

Image Quality and Performance

The ASUS VG278Q features a 1080p resolution which is a standard quality in the market. It can be easy on GPU and will allow users to reach high frame rates. With a 1ms response time speed, the ASUS VG278Q features a rapid pixel transition from one color to another. It is also designed to eliminate ghosting and trailing and a motion blur for fast-paced games.

This monitor also uses a TraceFree feature that allows users to increase and decrease response time depending on what they think is sufficient at the default setting. Users can set it from 0 to 100 in 20 increments.

The ASUS VG278Q also has the Extreme Low Motion Blur feature (ELMB). Through its backlight strobing, it removes ghosting and trailing. Users can set this feature at 120Hz or 1444Hz fixed refresh rate.
