My bar recently reopened after my staff, and I got fully vaccinated. Even with the effects of the pandemic, the competition of bars in our area is still pretty tight. So aside from offering reasonable prices of drinks and menu items and keeping the place disinfected and clean daily, I knew I had to do something to really “stand out.”
I got very interested in LED technology this past year that I installed LED light strips from Affordable LED on almost all our furniture. The wife loved it, so I figured it could work on the bar, too, when it reopens.
So I spent weeks redesigning the bar in the hopes of being the bar people talk about in our area.
Here are the LED products I installed in and outside the establishment:
LED open sign

This is a necessity for any shop. Of course, you need to let the people know that you are open for business.
Storefront sign
You gotta let the people know you offer free WiFi! This sign was pretty helpful because we got a handful of guests asking if we have free WiFi.
Programmable LED sign

I got one scrolling LED sign with two rows by the bar to display the day’s specials and current promotions.
Flexible LED tubes

These LED tubes made a huge difference in the ambiance of the bar. The warm white ones are the perfect color.
LED floodlights

I also installed LED floodlights in our parking area for safety. I got two of these, and they light up the area really well.
I knew this is a considerable investment, as LED signs and lighting fixtures do not come cheap. But lo and behold, I saw a steady increase in revenue in weeks after we reopened. This LED technology is definitely worth it!
If you own a bar and need to stand out, I highly recommend installing LED lighting. And do check out AffordableLED.com. This shop ships out fast, and items arrive quickly. Totally a legit online shop!
