Did you know that there is a gaming console that actually caters to Steam games? These are called Steam Machines, which runs either in Linux or Windows operating systems that boot directly into Steam. The CyberPowerPC Syber Gaming Vapor A is one of these machines, which I will review for today’s article.

The Syber Gaming Vapor A is based on an AMD Athlon x4 processor and is the lowest priced model in the group at $595. Its quad-core processor is paired with a Radeon R9 270 GPU video card, which provides gamers with high frame rates at high-quality settings.

The Vapor A is available in either black or white console-style case and is larger than a PlayStation 3. Its case, though, provides several open vents to provide superb cooling. This keeps the system running silently, even after several hours of playing.

The Vapor A comes with a Logitech game controller and a Syber mini keyboard controller along with the system console. Its accessories include a charging cable for the Logitech controller, two USB dongles, two antennas for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and a USB receiver extension cable.

You can find the power button, a single USB 2.0 port, and a dual USB 3.0 port in the system front panel. It also has front connections for headphones and microphones.

The back panel of the system, on the other hand, looks similar to a traditional PC. Its motherboard connectors allow you to connect to Wi-Fi antennas and six additional USB devices, including two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0. It also has additional audio connectors.

Although it is the lowest priced model in its group, the Syber Gaming Vapor A will run high-resolution games at medium to high settings. Performance-wise, this system console will allow you to run your favorite games at 1080 pixels resolution all day long. This system provides a winning solution for gamers who want to use a different system to play their Steam games aside from their gaming PC.
