If you’re considering buying the CyberPowerPC Tracer V Edge I17E, check my own list of pros and cons of the gaming laptop after I have experienced using it.

THE PROS
Here is the list of pros that I love about the Tracer V Edge I17E:
- It is a 17.5″ inch laptop model which is more portable than most gaming laptops.
- It has powerful hardware components for a gaming laptop, including an Intel Core i7 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080.
- It comes with a standard 16GB DDR4 RAM, which you can upgrade for 32GB for only $150.
- It has 1TB SSD Memory which lets you install many games. You can upgrade it to a 2TB WD SSD.
- It has an RGB Membrane Keyboard — a lit feature, I might say.
- It includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty and Lifetime Technical Support.
THE CONS
Following the pros is this list of cons that you might want to consider when buying the unit:
- It cost $2,199, which is a bit expensive due to its high-end hardware components, so it’s just like getting a gaming desktop.
- Since it’s a portable gaming laptop, expect that its hardware components generate a lot of heat. I will definitely suggest using a laptop stand and cooling pad to avoid overheating issues.
- A gaming desktop still delivers higher performance than a gaming laptop, so consider which type of unit would provide your needs. If it is the portability you’re looking for, I definitely suggest you go with the Tracer V Edge I17E.
